About Disaster Avoidance Experts
Disaster Avoidance Experts is a boutique future-of-work consultancy that helps tech, professional services, and finance and insurance executives drive collaboration, innovation, and retention in hybrid work.
The intuitive approach is to rely on the traditional office-centric culture in hybrid work. Unfortunately, research shows that what worked at the office doesn’t work for hybrid teams. The best practice is not to incrementally improve on the traditional office-centric culture, but to adopt a hybrid-first culture. This culture change dramatically improves collaboration, innovation, and retention for hybrid teams.
Tech, professional services, and finance and insurance executives retain our services to help them achieve their top priorities for hybrid work using evidence-based best practices. They trust our expertise, which is based on cutting-edge behavioral economics research in future-proofing, decision-making, and cognitive bias risk management in the future of work. It’s also based on hundreds of successful projects for our satisfied clients, which range from mid-size businesses and nonprofits to Fortune 500 companies. They include Aflac, Applied Materials, Entergy, Grange Insurance, Honda, Lending Tree, Nationwide, University of Southern California, Wells Fargo, and Xerox, and gladly provide enthusiastic testimonials and references.
Our excellent client results and cutting-edge thought leadership were featured in over 650 articles and 550 interviews in prominent venues. These include Harvard Business Review, Fortune, USA Today, Inc. Magazine, CBS News, Time, Business Insider, Fast Company, CNBC, and many others. They were additionally featured in several best-selling books written by our CEO and Co-Founder Dr. Gleb Tsipursky. These include Leading Hybrid and Remote Teams: A Manual on Benchmarking to Best Practices for Competitive Advantage (Intentional Insights, 2021), The Blindspots Between Us: How to Overcome Unconscious Cognitive Bias and Build Better Relationships (New Harbinger, 2020), and Never Go With Your Gut: How Pioneering Leaders Make the Best Decisions and Avoid Business Disasters (Career Press, 2019).
